Avocado spread on rice thins

Avocado can be prepared in a more interesting way to tantalize the taste buds. Recently I came up with a brainwave – a low calorie breakfast that doesn’t include bread. I call it Special Avocado Spread on Rice Thins. Alternatively corn thins can also be used.

Ingredients

2 avocado, mash

2 small fresh red chili, chopped

2 tbsp hummus

1 tsp mustard

juice of half a lemon

dash of pepper

Method

Mash the avocadoes in a bowl with a fork.

Add chilies.

Mix the ingredients well.

Add hummus and mustard.

Add pepper and lemon juice.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly.

Store in avocado spread in a container and chill it in the fridge.

Special Avocado Spread

When you mash the avocadoes, you may choose to leave the avocadoes a little coarse. Alternatively, if you prefer a smooth texture, you can place all the ingredients above in a blender and blend till it reaches the desired texture.

Place a slice of your favourite cheese on rice thin and add the avocado spread on top. The result is a delicious and nutritious breakfast prepared in less than 5 minutes! The special avocado spread is also perfect in sandwiches or wraps and also as a dip. You’ll never see avocado the same way again!
