Prima Deli is a bakery franchise in Singapore that serves an extensive selection of premium quality cakes for everyday treats and special occasions, savoury bread and pies. It is known for its soft and tasty pandan chiffon cake. One of the items I’d usually go for is its Chocolate Fudge Cake.
Prima Deli Chocolate Fudge Cake is one of the best cakes I’ve ever tried. It definitely ticks all the boxes in my chocolate cake requirements.

It comprises two layers of sponge cake that is topped with a layer of chocolate fudge bearing a criss cross pattern and separated with another layer of chocolate. Simple in appearance, the cake looks invitingly moist and spongy.

If you are after affordable and an average, tasty cake, look no further. The Chocolate Fudge Cake is huge enough to share amongst 3 people. If you have a bigger cake appetite but don’t want to look too greedy, you may share it with a friend, soul mate or family member. For its generous portion, it is affordable at S$5.30.
This deliciously enough Chocolate Fudge Cake is moist, spongy and has that melt in the mouth taste. It is definitely light, so if denser chocolate cake usually makes you sick after eating it, I strongly recommend this simple cake. It is sufficiently sweet without being too overpowering. It is the kind of cake that makes you crave for more bites, just because it’s light . For me, at least.
Don’t expect rich, chocolate-y, gooey cake in this one. If you are after a simple, chocolate cake that’s tasty enough, this is the one to go for.

Prima Deli Chocolate Fudge is sold at S$5.30 per piece. It is very affordable. The bonus is its bigger than average portion. I would say, it’s value for money.

I am happy to give 4 out of 5 stars for this chocolate fudge cake. Will I purchase it again? Definitely, if I crave simple, tasty, chocolate cake without feeling ripped off. In fact, I’ve bought 3 pieces of this cake within a 2-month period. Need I say more?
